Applications of BBa_K091182

This construct is designed to function as an XOR gate with inputs of either IPTG or the signaling molecule produced by LasI and output of LuxI expression. This function can only occur when the regulatory proteins TetR and LasR are available. However, we measure the basal level, unregulated function of the device by coplating it with a LuxI receiver. K091182 was able to cause GFP expression in the reciever, as shown below.
